This notice covers our website, contact enquiries and customer portal. The public online shop is currently disabled.

2. Scope and legal framework

This notice describes personal data processing when you visit the website, make contact or service enquiries, or use the customer portal, under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and its Ordinance. Applicable foreign data protection rules are also taken into account.

3. Personal data we process

Depending on how you use our services, we may process the following data:

• Identity and contact details, such as name, company, address, phone number and email address;
• Project and enquiry information, including building details, technical information, photographs, plans and preferred dates;
• Contract, order, delivery and payment information;
• Equipment, maintenance, repair and service history records;
• Technical usage data, such as IP address, browser, operating system, pages visited, time and referring URL;
• The content of emails, telephone conversations and forms.

4. Purposes of processing

We process personal data to answer enquiries, provide advice and quotations, fulfil contracts, coordinate deliveries and installations, perform maintenance and repairs, meet legal obligations and operate a secure, user-friendly website and services.

5. Hosting and technical logs

The website and customer portal are hosted by OVHcloud. IP addresses, date and time, requested URLs, data volumes, browser information and status messages may be processed to deliver the service and maintain security and stability. Use of this overseas provider may involve processing outside Switzerland. Further information: OVHcloud – personal data protection.

6. Contact and forms

When you contact us by phone, email or form, we process the information you provide to respond, prepare a quotation and, where appropriate, perform a contract. Required fields are limited to what is necessary. Documents and images may contain technical or personal information; please submit only material needed for your enquiry.

7. Online shop and payments

The public online shop is disabled. Online orders and payments are not currently available. Equipment and service enquiries are handled individually. Before introducing a shop, we will provide information about its payment and delivery providers.

8. Customer portal and maintenance reminders

Direct registration requires your name, email address, phone number and password; passwords are stored as hashes. Depending on use, we process equipment, location, maintenance, history, document and service request data, along with contact and reminder preferences. Authorised MAGO staff use these to support your equipment and handle enquiries. Reminder preferences can be changed in the portal. Contact MAGO by email for account deletion or other privacy requests. Legal retention obligations remain applicable. Google and Apple sign-in are not currently offered.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

For sign-in and security, the server uses the session cookie mago_session with an intended lifetime of eight hours. Your analytics choice is saved in local browser storage under mago-consent-v1 until changed or deleted. Microsoft Clarity loads only after you choose “Allow analytics”. You can change this through “Cookie settings” in the footer.

10. Microsoft Clarity

With your consent, we use Microsoft Clarity to analyse and improve the website. Clarity may process page visits, clicks, scrolling, device and browser information and technical identifiers, set analytics cookies and display interactions in session recordings and heatmaps. This does not guarantee complete anonymity.

The provider is Microsoft. Processing outside Switzerland, particularly in the United States, is possible. Microsoft states that ordinary session recordings are retained for 30 days and marked sessions and heatmap data for up to nine months. WhatsApp and optional online advice

Clicking the WhatsApp link opens a WhatsApp/Meta service, whose privacy information also applies. You can alternatively contact us by phone or email. If the Markus assistant is displayed and you send a message, the message, conversation identifier and page URL are transmitted to the assistance service provided by Vivaldi Media at vivaldi-ai-reception.ixc51.chatgpt.site . The conversation identifier and recent messages are also saved in local browser storage. Do not send confidential documents or sensitive personal data. Contact MAGO to request access or deletion. Binding appointments and quotations are confirmed by the MAGO team.

11. Disclosure to third parties and international transfers

We disclose personal data only where necessary for our services, with your consent, to meet a legal obligation or where an overriding interest applies. Recipients may include hosting, IT, communications, payment, delivery and service providers and public authorities. For transfers to countries without adequate protection, we use appropriate contractual safeguards where required or rely on a legal exception.

12. Retention and data security

We retain personal data only as long as needed for its purpose, contract performance, legal obligations or legitimate claims. We take appropriate technical and organisational security measures. Completely risk-free transmission or storage cannot, however, be guaranteed.

13. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, disclosure or transfer of certain personal data, deletion or restriction of processing. Consent may be withdrawn for the future. Legal retention and evidentiary obligations remain applicable.

14. Changes

We may update this notice as our website, services or legal requirements change. The version published on this website applies.
